Software to pre-process scanned images
This page contains software written to pre-process image files obtained from the Zeiss SCAI scanner (see attachments).
- TIFFStripper runs under Windows XP and was created by Nilay Roy to disassemble large scans of six negatives. The idea is to save time by scanning six negatives at once. Installers with and without C++ are available.
- normscan is a simple program that can be used to remove vertical stripes from a scan that result from normalization errors of the CCD detector of the Zeiss SCAI scanner.
