mask with cosine edge. Width parameter?

Hi Niko,

You say that you apply a mask with a cosine edge to the images. What width do you give to you give to your edge? I can't find it in your publication. Also, what mask radius do you use? The particle radius?

Just so you get a quicker answer I'll jump in... Niko can correct later if I get it wrong.

I think the cosine edge width is set to 6 pixels in the program - I don't think it's a user parameter.

The mask radius is probably your particle radius - RO I think.

For the max radius, do you usually enter the exact radius of the particle or do you leave a bit more room, and if so, how much?
