No mask for output reconstruction

Frealign

Hi,

I would like to generate an output reconstruction and 2 half sets which are NOT masked in any way, but i'm not sure there is a way to do this? When I try and set RO and RI to =0, these parameters are not accepted.

I am using helical mode in frealign v8.09, any help would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Joe,

Quick answer is I don't know whether this is possible - I haven't played enough with Frealign. But have you tried the following:

  • RI=0 and RO=something bigger than your box size?
  • FBEAUT = F (this would have the disadvantage that the helical symmetry would need to be imposed separately)?

Also, to get the half-dataset reconstructions, you can play with the IFSC flag.
