ctffind-4.1.8 installation

Hi

I downloaded ctffind-4.1.8 from authorised webpage (http://grigoriefflab.janelia.org/ctf) and tried to install using the instruction from installation manuial i.e. the shell command `./configure && make && make install'
should configure, build, and install this package. However it stops with the following error:

Thank you.

Dear Dilip,

Thanks for trying ctffind. If you are a beginner, I would highly recommend downloading the pre-compiled binaries for ctffind rather than trying to compile it yourself. Also, I'd recommend downloading the latest version available.

In your case, could you try downloading the file called "ctffind-4.1.10-linux64-compat.tar.gz", unpacking it, and running the binaries in there? Hopefully this will "just work".

Cheers,
Alexis
