Using sum_movie to generate aligned stacks?

Hi,

I've used unblur for whole frame alignment, and I'd like to try polishing in relion (but I only generated the aligned sums initially, not aligned stacks).

I still have the shifts files, so I'd like to use them with sum_movie to generate aligned stacks, to speed up the process and ensure that the overall alignment is identical (which I am not 100% sure is guaranteed if I run unblur again to do so).

Thoughts/suggestions?

Cheers

Oli

Thanks Tim! Apologies for the late reply, I missed your post for some reason, but I've downloaded and tested the modified version now and it seems to work fine. Thanks again!

Hi Tim,

this script would be really useful for me as well, but unfortunately there is nothing under this link anymore. Would you mind providing the script again please?

Cheers,

Hi Tim (long time, no see!)

I'd also like a copy of summovie that can output frames if possible. The two links in the this thread have already expired. I'd like to use it to dose-weight a tilt series, so I was thinking of giving it an alignment file of 0 0, but obviously a sum makes no sense in that context.

Cheers,

James

Hi Tim,

Could you please post the link to the version of summovie that outputs the dose-weighted stack file? The link doesn't appear to work. This would be great for a quick dose-weighting of tilt series.

Thanks
