dose filtering

Dear Grigorieff lab,
do you think that I can use the SumMovie for dose filtering on movies collected on DE20 camera? Is it possible to apply the dose filtering with supplied boxes to get back already boxed particles with applied dose filter?

All best,

Gabriel

Hi Gabriel,

You can use Sum Movie to apply the dose filter, you just need the stack of frames (that must be in the correct order). If they are unaligned, you will need to align them with unblur, if they are aligned you can create a "fake" alignment .txt file with all the shifts at 0.

You can't supply particle co-ordinates, but you can just cut the particles out of the sum, so providing co-ordinates wouldn't really help, unless I have not understood the question?

Cheers,

Tim
